Generic solutions that don't fix the issue.
We are a team of 2 people. Our accounts have been on individual accounts for the past year.
When it was time to renew, we tried renewing both accounts being signed in on just one account (that was our mistake, we should of logged out after paying for one and logged in to the next account needing renewed). This put us on a "Team" subscription. When we realized the second account could no longer see any previous transfers, we reached out for help. It was followed by being told the second account never had any previous transfers as well as a very long and confusing email thread of very generic solutions.
We went back and forth trying to explain the issue and what we needed without getting anywhere. Long story short, we're going on almost 3 weeks trying to get this resolved.

I'm still getting charged £8 per month even though I've cancelled my account over a few months ago. Had to try again last month (see email screenshot attached).
When I googled how to cancel the account, they said it's very easy on the website but when I've tried, I couldn't find a cancel subscription area at all.
Very frustrating as I've been charged over £50 extra at this stage. Kind regards, Noel Heffernan.

Some individuals using your service representing themselves as McAfee representatives indicated to me that if I didn't respond to them, they were going to withdraw $499.99 from my CC through your service! These are not McAfee representatives; it is a scam, as I have already spoken to McAfee, and I find this very disturbing that they are using your services to perform this.

I received absolutely no support and have been paying monthly for years, this is some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
I cant send any transfers but I was just charged for a plan that no longer exist. I was charged $10.99 & see on my plan info that my subscription will be renewed 12/4/25 but Im still not able to send anymore transfers. I want to be able to send more transfers or be refunded for what I paid.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. By PayPal. Don't get trapped into monthly subscription.

I was trying to transfer a video I had edited to someone who wanted it. Checked my account and saw -229 dollars from this app. I tried calling 2 numbers, both didnt go through.
I will be trying to contact again. Just be aware.

On July 2nd, I contacted your help center regarding an upcoming charge of $228 scheduled for July 8th. I was not aware of this pending charge as I previously had automatic payments enabled via PayPal.
Upon discovering this, I immediately took the following actions:
Canceled my account.
Canceled the subscription.
Canceled the automatic payment from within the PayPal application.
For your reference, I have attached both your invoice and the corresponding PayPal transaction details (please see attached documents).
Given my current financial situation, I am unable to bear this charge, and I do not wish to proceed with the annual subscription of $228.
I see that a $228 hold is still reflected on my account, and I need to urgently confirm with you that this amount will not be charged to me, or alternatively, that it will be fully refunded if it is processed.
Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried to telephone you but without success. The call just shuts down after one ring at your end.
I had a $180 WeTransfer PRO subscription which was recently automatically--without my knowledge or consent-- renewed and upgraded to a WeTransfer ULTIMATE plan at nearly double the price of the one I had been on.
This was done without prior notice of any kind whatsoever.
I did not consent to this change. Nor did you notify me of the change nor of the increase.
This was charged to my credit card without my knowledge or consent.
BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE on your part.
I would like to cancel my subscription and be reimbursed for the unused portion remaining on the new plan.
Please respond back and confirm your intentions in this matter.

In this instance, it took multiple emails, and resending of receipts etc, but in the end, I heard back from a Support Agent at WeTransfer who finally sorted out the issues and brought about an effective and satisfactory resolution.

Dialed a phone number provided and got an odd signal. It shouldn't be this hard to talk to at least sales before I give them my money.
